it's been going on about a week, week and a half maybe, give or take. And at first I thought that they were just night terrors but the more that they keep happening the more I think that it's something more. Like my mind is trying to tell me something and for whatever reason it just ain't making it all the way through. I've also noticed that when I wake up I wake up around the same times which is usually anywhere between 2:00 and 2:30 a.m., 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., and then again anywhere between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. . I've also noticed that the more they happen the more I'll start to lucid dream. Like it'll start off as just a dream. But then I'll walk into a certain area/place, or someone will walk up to me and say something inaudible, then I'll start to become aware I'm dreaming and feel drawn to something. I'll start to follow it but once I do, something evil starts chasing me. I haven't been able to see it yet, but it feels very similar to something that use to haunt and taunt me all the time growing up. The closer I get to whatever answer is drawing me to it, the thing catches up to me and attacks me, which causes me to wake up. Everytime the evil thing wakes up and starts chasing me, I feel it, even if it ain't close yet. It makes this low grumble type noise, almost like in the movie the grudge, but not exactly like that. As soon as it wakes up, I feel instantly in danger and rush to the answer because something deep down tells me the answer will also keep the thing from getting to me. But I either don't make it, or a couple times I will get really really close before it pounces on me and I wake up gasping for air and panicking. Sometimes I wake up and know right away I'm safe, other times I wake up and I dont know right away where I am and feel like it's watching me or still got ahold of me.
This dream suggests that there may be unresolved fears or traumatic experiences from your past that are resurfacing in your subconscious mind. The recurring theme of being chased by an unseen evil entity could symbolize a feeling of being pursued or threatened by something you can't quite identify. This could be related to feelings of anxiety or unresolved issues that are causing distress in your waking life.
The timing of your awakenings during the night could indicate a disruption in your sleep patterns, possibly due to stress or inner turmoil. The lucid dreaming aspect of your dream, where you become aware that you are dreaming, may symbolize a desire for control or understanding over your fears and emotions.
The feeling of being drawn towards an answer or solution in the dream indicates a subconscious urge to confront and overcome these fears. However, the presence of the evil entity could represent inner obstacles or negative influences that are hindering your progress. It might be beneficial to explore these fears in a safe and supportive environment, such as therapy or self-reflection, to uncover the root cause and work towards healing and resolution.
